Norwin Little League competes in Pennsylvania Little League: Western Division, Section 2, District 4.
For 2026, District 4 includes the following leagues:
Armory, Avon Worth, Deer Lakes, EFY Area, Ingomar Franklin, Lower Valley, Moon Twp, Norwin, Quaker Valley, Shaker, and West Allegheny.
Norwin Little League comply with all Little League International and Pennsylvania Little League rules. The following age groups and names align with Little League International standards.
Norwin Little League will strive each year to enter a tournament within the following age brackets.
10 year old
11-year old
12-year old
13-year old
14-year old
15-year old
16-year old
To compete in the annual Little League tournament, all Little League players must meet the following age and participation requirements.
Age: League age as of August 31
- Minors (league ages 9 & 10) NCAA Bantam
- Majors (league ages 11 & 12) NCAA Juniors
- Jr League (league ages 13 & 14) NCAA Pony
- Sr League (league ages 15 & 16) NCAA Colt
Participation: Little League tournament players must sign up for NCAA recreational baseball and play in at least 60% of the season's games.
Coaching Little League: To coach a Little League tournament team, the coach must coach an NCAA recreational baseball spring team. Coaches will be selected mid-way through the Spring recreational season based upon, their interest, coaching competencies, and finalized by board approval.
Little League Tryouts: Recreational baseball participants that meet the above requirements will have the opportunity to try-out for the aligned age level Little League tournament team. Try-out dates will be announced after the coach is confirmed. The try-out process is the same as our Norwin Travel and Metro tryouts. Each age level will host a baseball skills session where the child will demonstrate what they can do. Dates to be announced early May.
Section Level Tournaments
All section tournaments must be Double Elimination.
All participants will receive section pins and/or medallions
Champion team will be presented a Pennsylvania Section Championship Pennant.
End of June to Early July: Qualifiers
Mid July: Sectionals
End of July: States
Early August: Regionals
Mid August: Little League World Series
